I got an email earlier from a subscriber who was bragging about how much work experience she has under her belt.
37 years.
Please I know several people who have way more work experience and still complain that they don't make enough money.
They demanded raises… in front of people who weren't in control of giving it to them.
37 years of work experience only tells me that people play it safe for far too long.
I don't know maybe they fear not being able to make it on their own so they put up with the nonsense and BS from a crappy boss or two.
I would know.
I had them.
Shockingly enough, all except 1 got fired before I left my part-time (but worked full-time) job.
Show my face every now and again – only thing I hear is “when you coming back” to which I respond I'm not.
And for good reasons that I won't get into in this email.
Anyways;
All this to say – you have two options:
1 – Continue working the job that only works in paying you just enough so you don't leave
Or…
2 – Start making more moolah than your boss while helping more people in the process.
The choice is yours.
Me?
I'll run with Option 2, since it allows me to live the lifestyle that I ultimately want.
