Lots of new marketers spend too much of their time making things complicated.

They also happen to be the ones who focus on things that don’t matter.

For example;-

Recently I was on a live call where the marketer presenting was talking about having folks outline their sales process, he gave his example - which was so simple he was able to draw it out on a napkin.

Then a question was asked.

The question, had absolutely nothing do with what was talked about on the call, went on with asking about domain names, sub-domains, blah blah blah.

A clear case of folks don’t listen.

Not sure how successful they will end up being, but if you can’t follow simple instructions without getting distracted by the things that don’t matter, I can only imagine what the lack of success is going to be like.
